"When my baby starts crying, I think: oh no! This is going to last for hours. I immediately feel the stress building up, also in my muscles. I’ve spoken to other parents, and they felt the same way—it’s totally normal." – Mother of a 2-month-old baby

Is your baby crying a lot?

Babies cry, that’s normal—it’s their way of communicating. But when your baby cries a lot, it can be really tough. You might feel tense and stressed due to the crying. Some parents even experience feelings of frustration, irritation, or despair. It’s important to know that you’re not alone. And the good news is, there are things you can do.

Why do babies cry and what can you do?

After birth, your baby has to adjust to life outside the womb. There are so many new sights, sounds, and sensations. Inside the womb, your baby felt safe and secure. With the Happiest Baby method, you’ll learn five steps to help your baby feel safe and comfortable. These steps imitate the calming environment of the womb, which helps babies from 0 to 4 months feel more relaxed by triggering an automatic soothing response.

"Now that I know what to do when he cries, I feel much more at ease." – Workshop participant
